Website Design Assignment 2012

This was my final year assignment project which done in year 2012. This is a website design project for a clothing brand that I've selected and got permission to work with which is F.O.S. Below is the concept board about where i got the inspiration and ideas.

I put owl as the main characters for the big picture or at the splash page which because my message is talking to audience who have are smart consumer/ wise money spender and have sharp eyes for fashion.

The loading page where the logo will be slowly unfold by the triangles.

After the splash introduction animation will come to this homepage.

The concept is using a big image and split into different pages at different parts of this image. The transition from one page to another will be zooming out to see this big picture full and then zoom back to the selected page. 

HELLO! its been very long while....

Hey!!, its been a very long while for not updating my blog. I have been working as intern for 3 months and came back to new semester in university after internship. Today just going to update you guys with my old assignment work which have been done 4 months ago. Looking back my old works made me feel that i am so silly with all those silly mistakes and amateur works done by me.
These are my assignment print ad designs that were made before my internship, Sorry if there's any alignment problem or any amateur color choice.

I used metaphor idea to describe the orphans like the small little stones on the ground being kick around or thrown, abandoned as no one cherish it. But stones are used to build houses which means everyone here do have values, have their worthiness. So, we should also help them to succeed their dreams by providing the guide and education.

 This was describing the tagline message which is "Embrace.Encourage.Educate" using a paper airplane folding steps.Embrace means to take, receive and accept, to adopt. To me , accept can be shown through the gesture of hug or arms. Then i thought of the paper airplane folding steps, there's one is fold inwards, that gesture gives me the feeling of embrace, hug or let in. Encourage with the hands open up the wings of the paper airplane is sort of gesture of encouraging the airplane(orphan) to fly. Lastly, the educate with the hand of throwing paper airplane to fly is showing us how to fly with the hand ready to throw the plan up and foward.

I guess this is more directly deliver the message by the visual. So, i do not need to explain this one =)

Directory sign board design assignment

Hello! long time no update recently. I was busy doing assignments and some other outdoor activities.

This semester my class have this subject called environmental design which is for study about design exhibition stage and some sign board design, so will learn about some architecture stuff such as using their tools to design  draw accurately the stage or the standing board, etc.

below are the images of my final chosen design for directory in mall.

this is the final design here. and the human figure beside it shows how big is the directory is.

 this is my first attempt to make the model mock up but my cutting skill and the sticking them together did not executed nicely. So, I didn't use this one.

After further developing the design and playing with texturing, patterns, I plan to redo the mock up with one different material added in which is the semi transparent color plastic card.

Done! but my cutting skill still bad hahaha.

MI CNY soft drink ads assignment

Sorry for very very lag of updating this blog, I was busy with my own works and also school works. And this is one of them. To choose a product from 5 products and match with one special events from 5 different events. In the end, I chose soft drink with Chinese New Year event. After many consultations with lecturers and research from internet and precedent studies, here's the result. The reason I choose pheonix instead of dragon or tiger to represent Chinese New Year is too generic and common as I was told by the lecturer so I used pheonix in the end.

This was done by mixed software and media which is photo cutout, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop.

Below are the sketches before I get into the final product.
